Newport House

This property is situated on the high side of Prince Alfred Parade and has beautiful panoramic water views of Pittwater. This home was built in the 1970s. As the house was in a high landslip area, the whole structure had moved down the hill. This project involved underpinning and re-establishing structural walls of the lower levels and then a complete renovation to property, involving stripping out the old roof and removing all internal walls.

This newly renovated home now features a large open plan space for the living, kitchen and dining areas. The serene views of Pittwater can been seen from most angles of this interior space. Large bi-fold doors were used in the living area which open out to a timber deck complete with glass balustrading to maximise the water views. A large window was also placed near the dining area to take advantage of the views. An en-suite was added to the master bedroom and the main bathroom was upgraded. There is now a new 2nd bedroom, office/guest space, large storage area and internal laundry. A new Colorbond roof system was installed and the outside of the property was landscaped with large retaining walls at the front and rear to maximise access and allow for better drainage.  Have a look at the ‘work in progress’ photos below.  Professional photos of the completed project coming soon.
